Trust & Safety Policy
Public-facing policy draft — final legal and compliance approval is still pending before this is published as final.
Trust Framework
EHB GoSellr is designed to support a trusted marketplace through seller qualification, transaction controls, customer support and complaint handling. Trust and safety requirements apply to customers, sellers, service providers and other marketplace participants. Verification and marketplace controls may be used to reduce avoidable risks, but a verification or trust indicator does not guarantee that every transaction will be problem-free.
Seller & Product Trust
- Sellers may be required to complete STL verification.
- Applicable identity, business or credential checks may be performed through relevant EHB systems.
- Sellers must keep verification information accurate and current.
- Products and listings must comply with applicable marketplace requirements.
- Counterfeit, unsafe, illegal or prohibited products must not be offered.
Buyer Protection
Customers should receive clear information and a structured process for reporting eligible problems — reviewing relevant product, seller, price and delivery information before purchase, with eligible payment and order records supporting transaction review. Customers can report product, delivery, payment or seller concerns through GoSellr support, and return, refund and replacement processes provide defined routes for eligible order problems. See also Warranty and My Cases.
Prohibited Activities
- Fraudulent or deceptive transactions.
- Fake or misleading listings.
- Counterfeit or unlawfully offered products.
- Manipulation of reviews, ratings or promotions.
- Unauthorized access to accounts or platform systems.
- Use of unauthorized payment channels to bypass platform controls.
Complaint & Evidence Review
A complaint is a report for review and does not automatically establish wrongdoing. GoSellr may review the relevant order, account, listing, payment and delivery records; customers or sellers may be asked to provide photographs, videos, messages or other evidence; and the relevant seller or service provider may be asked for a response. The available information is assessed before an appropriate action is selected, and additional verification may be requested where the initial evidence is incomplete. See Complaints for how to start one.
Risk Monitoring
- Unusual transaction activity may trigger additional review.
- Repeated complaints may lead to a seller, product or account review.
- Verification may be repeated when information changes or a justified concern arises.
- Temporary restrictions may be used while a material security issue is being assessed.
Enforcement
Actions depend on the seriousness and circumstances of the issue.
- A warning may be issued for a lower-level or correctable violation.
- A listing or transaction may be restricted.
- An account may be temporarily suspended.
- Serious or repeated violations may result in loss of marketplace access.
- Financial adjustments or other remedies may apply where supported by the applicable transaction rules.
- Serious matters may be referred to the appropriate authority where required.
Review & Appeal
Where GoSellr provides an applicable review or appeal route, the affected party may use that process — providing relevant new information or evidence, with the review focused on the specific decision or complaint. The outcome may confirm, change or require further review of the original action; final handling remains subject to applicable law and platform rules.
