Warranty
Warranty types, coverage windows, and how a warranty claim is resolved.
Warranty types
A product may be listed with one of: No Warranty, Checking Warranty, Seller Warranty, Manufacturer Warranty, or a Custom Warranty the seller defines. The type and duration are shown on the product page and locked in at the time you purchase — later changes to that seller's listing don't affect items you already bought.
When coverage starts
The warranty period starts from your order's confirmed delivery date, using the exact terms you purchased under. If the item has No Warranty, a warranty claim can't be submitted for it.
What Checking Warranty covers
Checking Warranty covers eligible functional and manufacturing defects discovered during the checking period. It does not automatically cover buyer-caused damage, water damage, or a change of mind — unless the specific policy you purchased explicitly says otherwise.
One claim per item
Each purchased item can have one warranty claim. If you buy the same product again in a separate order, that new purchase has its own, independent warranty eligibility.
How a claim is reviewed
Submit a claim from a delivered order under My Orders. Your Franchise reviews it first and may forward it to the seller for a response; the seller can accept or dispute the claim, but the Franchise makes the final decision. If the item needs to physically come back for inspection, that follows the same pickup/inspection process as a return.
Possible outcomes
A resolved claim is one of: repair, replacement, a full refund (with the item returned), or rejection — always with a written explanation, visible under My Cases. As with returns, a refund outcome here is an operational decision, not a payment — approving one does not itself move any money. A replacement decision closes the original claim; it doesn't create a new warranty period for the same purchased item. There is no buyer appeal or retry — a Franchise can reopen the same case to correct a decision.
