Cancellation Policy
Public-facing policy draft — final legal and compliance approval is still pending before this is published as final.
Purpose & Scope
EHB GoSellr allows customers to request cancellation when an order has not progressed beyond the stage where cancellation can reasonably be completed. Availability depends on the current order status, shown through the order interface. Request cancellation as early as possible when you no longer require an order — cancellation is separate from a return request made after delivery.
Customer Cancellation
- Open the relevant order and submit the cancellation request through GoSellr.
- You may be asked to select or provide a cancellation reason.
- Cancellation may depend on whether the seller has accepted or started processing the order.
- An order that has already been dispatched may not be eligible for normal cancellation.
- If cancellation is unavailable, use the applicable return process after delivery.
Seller Processing
- A seller should keep order status accurate and update it as the order progresses.
- A seller should not mark an order as dispatched when it has not been handed over for delivery.
- A seller may request cancellation where stock is unavailable or fulfillment cannot reasonably be completed.
- Seller-initiated cancellation should be handled through the authorized GoSellr workflow.
- Repeated seller cancellations may be reviewed as part of seller performance monitoring.
Platform Cancellation
GoSellr may cancel or restrict an order where a transaction cannot safely or properly continue.
- A payment failure or unresolved transaction issue.
- A security or fraud concern requiring the order to be stopped.
- A material listing, stock or operational error.
Where an order is cancelled by GoSellr, the customer will receive the applicable order status or support information.
Refund After Cancellation
If an eligible cancelled order has already been paid for, the applicable refund is processed under the Refund Policy. Where payment was not completed, no refund transaction is required. Where payment was completed, the eligible amount may be returned through the original payment method or supported wallet process — keep the cancellation reference until the refund is completed.
Partial Cancellation
Where the order structure allows it, only the affected item or quantity may be cancelled. You remain responsible for any part of the order that stays confirmed, any applicable refund is calculated against the cancelled portion, and delivery or other charges may be adjusted where the applicable checkout or order terms require it.
Cancellation Restrictions
- Orders already handed to a delivery partner may not be cancellable through the normal process.
- Customized, time-sensitive or otherwise restricted items may have special cancellation conditions.
- A request made after the allowed stage may instead be handled as a return or support request.
Fair Use
- Customers must not use cancellation to manipulate promotions or marketplace controls.
- Sellers must not cancel orders simply to avoid legitimate customer or platform obligations.
- GoSellr may review repeated or unusual cancellation patterns.
- Where misuse is identified, appropriate account or transaction controls may apply.
